Independent Hip-hop phenom "Gleeks" is a versatile rapper from the streets of the arts and communitive collective culture in Bushwick, Brooklyn. He is a Jamaican, Puerto-Rican, Cuban clothes designer, artist, music producer, and rapper/lyrist who embraces a deep connection to music through community and history. Growing up as the son of an accomplished musician, he was surrounded by sound early, using production software by ten and writing raps by fifteen. Creating his content at such an early age has led him to extraordinary accomplishments evident in his musical range today.
As an only form of expression growing up, his ability to write about life's struggles and future visions has been evident in the type of music he currently develops and exposes to the public sphere. At 18, he decided to drop out of college and focus on his passion for music instead. He can write and compose music from any genre and carry technical expertise and film and moving media knowledge. Considered a performer, singer, songwriter, actor, producer, and future executive music mogul, what stands out the most about Gleeks is his rare mixture of virtuosity and authenticity. City collected, he brings his story to life with dazzling production and intricate wordplay most rappers could only dream of. This talent has led him to some pretty notable accomplishments. Recently, he was noticed on social media by the well-renowned Tierra Whack for one of his rap freestyles. At only 22 years old, his story is just getting started, and there is no telling how far he will go.
